The working principle of laser cutting machine

2022-05-20

Dot matrix engraving is similar to high-definition dot matrix printing. The laser head swings left and right, carving a line composed of a series of points each time. Then, the laser head moves up and down simultaneously to carve multiple lines, finally forming a complete image or text. Scanned graphics, text, and vectorized graphics can all be engraved using a dot matrix. Vector cutting is different from dot matrix carving, as it is carried out on the outer contour lines of the graphics and text. We usually use this mode to perform penetration cutting on materials such as wood, acrylic particles, and paper, and can also perform marking operations on various material surfaces. Engraving speed: Engraving speed refers to the speed at which the laser head moves, usually expressed in IPS (inches per second). High speed brings high production efficiency. Speed is also used to control the depth of cutting. For a specific laser intensity, the slower the speed, the greater the depth of cutting or carving. You can use the engraving machine panel to adjust the speed, or you can use the computer's printing driver program to adjust it. Within the range of 1% to 100%, the adjustment range is 1%. The advanced motion control system of the Hummer allows you to achieve ultra-fine carving quality even when carving at high speeds. Engraving intensity refers to the intensity of the laser emitted on the surface of the material. For a specific carving speed, the higher the intensity, the greater the depth of cutting or carving. You can use the engraving machine panel to adjust the strength, or you can use the computer's printing driver program to adjust it. Within the range of 1% to 100%, the adjustment range is 1%. The greater the intensity, the greater the speed. The deeper the cutting depth, the larger the spot size: The spot size of the laser beam can be adjusted using lenses with different focal lengths. A lens with small light spots is used for high-resolution engraving. A lens with a large spot is used for lower resolution engraving, but for vector cutting, it is the best choice. The standard configuration of the new device is a 2.0 inch lens. Its spot size is in the middle, suitable for various occasions. Carvable materials: wood products, organic glass, metal plates, glass, stone, crystal, Corinne, paper, dual color plates, aluminum oxide, leather, resin, spray metal.
